While movies and photos got the bulk of the time today, the rest of iLife saw updates as well. iWeb ‘08 has been beefed up, adding live Web widgets that let you drag and drop functionality from other sites, such as Google Maps or YouTube. You can cut and paste any HTML snippet into your site and it will embed.
For the more financially-inclined, iWeb ‘08 will have Google AdSense built in. You can register with the Goog via iWeb itself, or enter your existing credentials. Drag an ad spot in and, as Steve would say, “boom”—you’re making money.
Other features for iWeb ‘08 include personal domain support, the ability to switch themes after your web site is published, and a media index page that lets you drag your content into it and simplify navigation.
And iDVD wasn’t left entirely out in the cold, snagging performance updates, new themes, and professional-grade encoding. “There are some people that still want to make DVDs.”
Finally, Garage Band adds a “magic” feature that lets you pick a genre, select different instruments, and then have it automatically create a project as a jumping off point.
What might you pay for the whole package? As always, iLife is just $79, and it’s available today. I may or may not be on my way to the Apple Store as you read this.

Question: Is iLife '08 going to be included when I buy Leopard? If so, I hardly see a reason to spend the $79 on it since Leopard is only a few months away.
