I’ve been a fan of Yep since it was known as Kip. It was a great way to manage PDFs (though I still favor Yojimbo a bit more). Leap brings its functionality to your entire filesystem and wide array of files. Basically, it lets you browse files not by their names and hierarchy position, but by the type of file it is and how you’ve tagged it. It’s that metadata stuff you’ve heard so much about.
There’s no doubt it’s a great idea and likely the future of file management. That said, it’s hardly original and if you’ve been paying attention to the way Spotlight and saved searches have become more prominent in Mac OS X, you already know that Apple’s planning on doing the same thing to the finder (or so we can hope).
Until Apple gets it right, Leap will let you experience the future in the present.

I've been using "Together". Must say, it's not that great. I would prefer Finder. Yep is totally crap though.
