JungleDisk releases license pricing

JungleDisk On the last podcast, I shared my initial experiences with JungleDisk, the Amazon S3 interfacing software. It turns it into a WebDAV share that you can treat just like any other disk and includes an automatic backup function. Like I said, it’s perfect for backing up stuff like your iPhoto library. I’m so enamored with it that I think I might opt to use it over .Mac’s iDisk.

The developer has been running a longtime beta and finally decided to unwrap pricing. For $20, you get free updates for life. Alternatively, you can pay $1 a month for as long as you use it. Despite some people’s trouble with spending $1.99 (for 802.11n), I think $20 is more than fair. I’m totally happy to hand over that for what has shaped up to be a very capable piece of software. Also worthy of note that you can use that on as many computers as you want and it even has Windows and Linux versions!

If you haven’t initiated a backup strategy, now is a good time with JungleDisk.
