Software promotions have abounded in the last months, but despite having enhanced MacUpdate’s recent bundle, MacHeist is already prepping for a second event, due this fall, apparently complete with missions and a final pay-for bundle. That’s where you come into play.
In an effort to assemble a compelling offer for heisters, the directorate is asking what apps MacHeist users would like to see included in the bundle (of course, last year’s applications are not possible candidates). If you think you may be interested in the bundle, this could be an opportunity to make it closer to your dreams and needs. Up to now, favorite candidates among users include upcoming programs like Pixelmator, OmniFocus, and Skitch.
With all this discounting mania, I’m starting to think the shareware world will soon run out of apps to give out — not to mention sell — but apparently, the MacHeist team still thinks there is life in the idea. If you do too, you can post your wishlist on the MacHeist forums (free account required).
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
