FlickrExport 3 beta available for download

FlickrExport Like most Mac users, I manage my photos using iPhoto. It makes the chore of importing and managing all those digital image files seem almost fun. Apple has been adding new fun features with every release of iLife. Once it’s in there though, I actually want to share some of those photos. My online photo sharing site of choice is Flickr.

The bridge between those worlds is Fraser Speirs’s FlickrExport. I’ve been a loyal user as long as I can remember. Sure, I could drag copies of my photos to my desktop and then upload them manually with Flickr’s web pages or even their Uploadr utility, but why would I when I could just select some photos in iPhoto and hit upload?

Fraser’s made a public beta of version 3 available for download. No pricing for the upcoming version has been announced, but the feature list is ready. You can send photos to multiple groups, send to the same sets of groups repeatedly, allow you to set photo order independent of upload order, use geographical data, and enjoy more reliable uploads. Sounds like a solid upgrade.
