Coordinate your colors

colorpicker.jpgIf you do even the slightest amount of graphic design, webpage publishing, or artistic photography work, the (free) Color Schemer 2 will come in handy for you. No, it’s not Dr. Evil’s latest plan to take over the world; it’s far more dangerous. By picking your color through the three RGB values or through the six-digit HEX value, you can get a swab of twelve coordinating colors. These twelve colors look great together and are perfect for coordinating websites, digital frames on photos, or just fooling around in Photoshop.

Don’t forget, the Color Picker in Photoshop and the DigitalColor Meter in OS X both give you the HEX and RGB values of any color, making choosing even easier than you imagined. If you really like the web version of this handy little color picker, you can download a full application for $50. Don’t forget, this thing might come in handy when getting dressed in the morning. It’s OK, I won’t tell your secret to color-coordinated success.
