check_up.jpgIf you want to get to the bottom of your Mac’s sluggish performance, or simply want to eke out as much processing power from your applications, CheckUp by App4Mac is something to look into.

Designed to monitor the usage of CPU, Memory, Disk Drives, and Network Adapters, CheckUp also displays detailed information about all running processes and lets you pause or terminate anything as you see fit. You can also customize and set rules that will be triggered when certain conditions are met for a specified resource.

Another cool feature is the ability to monitor a Mac on a network or through the Internet. This would be especially useful for IT administrators who need to check a remote computer or server.

You can download a free trial of CheckUp, or purchase the full license for $49.

That certainly is a Radiohead reference you've detected. I was waiting for someone to notice that!

Wanted you to know that someone got your Radiohead reference. Nicely done.
