I know that Tiger’s Dashboard is a contentious issue. Personally, I use it everyday for a handful of things that I don’t want running as full apps. Most of the apps I have open every day are OS X’s included widgets: Calculator, Dictionary, Weather. But holding on to the illustrious position of one of only two non-Apple widgets I’ve got running is Kamal Aboul-Hosn’s free Radar In Motion.
I’ll admit it, I’m a bit of a weather junkie and while OS X’s Weather widget does give me the forecast, current condition, and temperature, I miss those big maps the weathermen stand in front of. Radar In Motion gives you the option of tons of animated maps: Radar, Satellite, Forecast, from The Weather Channel and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The recently released version 2.4 fixes a few bugs, adds the ability to slow down the forecast maps. There’s also a version available for Yahoo! Widgets, should you swing that way.

After reading your headline for a second time I got it: Bohemian Rhapsody. Nice!
