Though not as sexy as Leopard or the iTV, the one prediction that everybody’s banking on is the appearance of iLife ‘07 and iWork ‘07 at Steve Jobs’s keynote. The two suites are virtually guaranteed a spot, though what changes to the software lurk therein, we won’t know until the beturtlenecked one tell us.
Still, that hasn’t stopped online retailer Amazon from posting pages for both iLife ‘07 and iWork ‘07. Both are listed as “currently not available” compatible with Mac OS X and Mac OS X Intel, and shipping on one DVD. Which sums up pretty much what anybody could know about this software before release. Though the question remains of how ticked off Steve Jobs is going to be that Amazon heisted his thunder.
So, readers, what say you of the forthcoming software suites? Will the ever-elusive spreadsheet app finally join iWork? Will iLife see only modest revisions? Will Steve Jobs shoot boxes of the software to keynote attendees out of a giant cannon?
Update: Amazon has now removed the pages. Don’t cry, I’m sure they’ll be back soon.

Hey, what about Leopard:

The iLife and iWork 07 pages have vanished... :-)
