Remember how cluttered the IE7 toolbar looked? It’s not going to be just Internet Explorer with this problem. It’s becoming epidemic. Maybe it’s a new Windows virus spreading through the Redmond campus. The latest victim is Office 2007.
Really, you just need to check out the pictures for yourself. A picture is worth a thousands words, but these screenshots have left me speechless.

Actually, I'v used Office "12" before, and I have to say, it's quite a nice experience. I can see what you mean, it does "look" cluttered, but when you actually use it, the experience is much better then any previous version of office.
