If you’ve ever seen HDR images, you’d be curious about how to make one yourself. HDR, or High Dynamic Range, photos involve taking multiple pictures of the same scene using different exposures and combining them into one incredibly vibrant image. Usually, these are made using Photoshop, but now non-Photoshop-owning Mac users can get in on the fun with Jasper’s DRIMaker. The donationware program allows you to simply drag-and-drop multiple photos into a window, and then adjust other settings such as Threshold and Luminance.
DRIMaker can be downloaded for free here, but beware that the site is in German, even though there’s a link to the English version of the software at the top of the page.
