Steve Wozniak, Apple’s other co-founder, is probably the biggest geek icon in the world of Apple. When you wear a binary watch and ride a Segway, how can you possibly not be geeky? Today, Charles Jade over at Ars Technica brings you more about Woz: he got the chance to see Woz speak at Maker Faire.
Topics that were discussed ranged from the man’s love of mathematics since grade school to his own dial-a-joke service, a phone number people would call to hear Polish jokes. As someone who’s halfway through iWoz, his autobiographical book, I find it easy to recognize the typical Steve Wozniak in those topics. If you haven’t already done so, I’d suggest you pick up a copy of the book — it’s essential to understand the reasoning behind Woz’s mentality, and it’s pretty fascinating for any Apple or tech enthusiast.
