The above phrase is a direct quote from Ripcord Networks. Until recently, the company has been rather quiet. It’s been around since at least 2004, but hasn’t produced any fruit. Now they’re gearing up to release what looks to be a VOIP and video conferencing phone.
Other than referencing the iPhone (though, my money is the Linksys version being what they’re talking about), what does this have to with Apple. Take a look at their board of directors. Recognize anyone? Steve Wozniak, Gil Amelio, and Ellen Hancock. Oh my! That’s quite a who’s who in Apple history.
My feeling that the Canopy isn’t going to set the world on fire like the iPhone.
