If you’re a regular reader of MacMinute, you may have noticed that it wasn’t updated at all last week, which is not only unusual because the site is normally so regularly updated, but because it was the week of WWDC. This morning, Stan Flack, the editor in chief, posted a note explaining the absence.
Dear MacMinute Readers: First of all, thank you for all of your emails of support and concern you sent in last week. I appreciate it. Monday evening I was rushed to emergency and immediately placed in intensive care due to a serious medical issue. After surgery I was heavily sedated for most of the week, and everything happened so quickly I had no opportunity to post a message to the site or make arrangements for the writing staff — to authorize someone to approve content to be posted. I sincerely apologize to everyone for the gap in our coverage. Something like this has never happened before. I am back on my feet, mostly, and everything should return to normal effective today. Thanks again for your patience and understanding. - Stan Flack, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief.
At MacUser, we’re all very relieved to hear that Stan is ok and wish him a complete and speedy recovery.
