I’m not ashamed to admit it: when it comes to 43 Folders’s Merlin Mann, I’m a total and utter fanboy—a Mannboy, if you will. I can’t explain it—somehow, the man just bakes my biscuit.
And somehow I’ve managed to disturb even myself.
Anyway, while the MacUser crew was out pounding the carpets of the show floor, we came across Mr. Mann, video camera in tow. Upon introducing myself, I was immediately seized and hauled off to give my thoughts on the iPhone.
Was it everything I had hoped and dreamed? Yes, and so much more. Video of the interview will hopefully surface over at MacBreak at some point. Scott snapped a bundle of pics, so you can witness my glassy-eyed, slack jaw expressions of awe. Really, I don’t remember anything from that whole five minutes, it’s just a blur—of awesomeness. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to catch up with Merlin at tonight’s meetup. If you’re at Expo, stop by and give us a “what up?”
