There’s a reason that Apple’s products have had such elegant design. That reason has a name: Jonathan Ive. The shell of the Macs that we know and love (and even some that we don’t) were his brain child. That’s not what he’s getting honored for this time though.
It seems like most Apple news lately is related to that most desirable piece of electronics, the iPhone. More specifically, its case and interface are simply to die for, errr, award worthy. This has earned Ive an MDA Personal Achievement award. MDA is, of course, the Mobile Data Association.
You haven’t heard of them either? That’s ok. They make a mighty pretty award. I wonder, does Ive now feel nonchalant about all these awards or does it still choke him up?
