Remember the 80’s? It was a time of cheesy music, funny haircuts, rampant cocaine abuse, and apparently, a good number of Apple computers in the corporate environment. Well it’s time for a little 80’s revival, people, because the Mac is bringing it back—minus the cheesy hair and blow.
A new Yankee Group report finds that Macs are becoming more and more common in business environments, with enterprise adoption now at the highest levels since the late 1980’s.
The report surveyed 750 IT administrators and C-level executives worldwide, finding that around 80 percent of businesses have Macs and OS X installed at least to some extent, while nearly 25% of the survey respondents have greater than 30 or 50 Macs present in their corporate networks.
The report credits Safari, iChat, Time Machine and FileVault for increasing the Mac’s appeal for corporate use. I’m sure the Intel switch has a little something to do with it as well. Godspeed, Apple! May you continue your noble quest of getting Windows out of corporate America, one Mac at a time.

Is it me, did I bang my head, was my head ripped from my neck in a confused, lost and surreal moment....or is there a little bit of Deja Vu going on here??
Didn't this exact same thing, get said, reported, surveyed a couple of months back??

Ok, well, back to never never land for me....
