Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office launched a new e-filing system for submitting patents that is Mac compatible. This new system is PDF-based, and is fully compatible with OS X. This is great news because now Mac users can submit patents directly from their computers without having to print them out. It’s also very interesting that the government seems to be taking notice of Mac users. Maybe Bush, Cheney, and Laura getting iPods were only the first steps of Apple getting involved with the government and vice-versa.
