ComputerWorld reports that ChangeWave Research has posted a study on satisfaction levels for corporate users of Leopard and Windows Vista. Not surprisingly, Leopard users are altogether much more satisfied than Vista users—in fact, Leopard users are 5 times more likely to say they’re ‘very satisfied’ than Vista users. Ooooh.
In a February survey of 2,200 U.S. corporate computer users, 53% of those using Leopard reported they were very satisfied with their operating system, compared to only 40% of Windows XP and *gasp* 8% of Vista users. We knew Vista was bad, but not that bad!
The moral of the story: if you’re looking for a job, shoot for the one that uses Leopard in the workplace. It just might better your existence.

Since it seems not to mention it in either this story or on the actual piece at all, was the split of 2200 an equal one?? Was the breakdown divided 3 ways between leopard, xp and vista users? so 733.3333333 using each? If not, I'm pretty sure the comparision's a little off, as is the survey? Not really rooting or for/against any of the OS's, just seems to be a glaring lack of actual figures other than a final tally. Little too much like certain elections....????
Actually, we knew it was that bad...haha
doesn't really matter much. even if the breakdown wasn't an even spread, the survey results would be reflective, if not precise.
in other words, out of those surveyed: more than 1 out of 2 leopard users were happy with their operating system, compared to 2 out of 5 xp users, and less than 1 out 12 vista users.
To be statistically valid, the split does not have to be equal between operating systems. The statistics will compensate for the differences.
I'm getting hooked on this blog...
