Back in the day when I went to college, we barely had wireless networks, or downloadble courses, much less programs that gave us free iPods. If we didn’t get eaten by dinosaurs on the way to class, we considered it a pretty good day (I still miss poor Hans).
Any idea of an Apple scholarship was right out. Thinking that we could get a MacBook Pro, an iPod nano, and $2000 from the computer company would have been about as believable as flying cars. But for those of you who are still to attend so-called “higher” education, you might want to drop an application Apple’s way. And you probably won’t have to walk uphill both ways like I did either.
In case you’re wondering, $2000 is enough money to keep you in Ramen for four years of undergrad, easy.
