Apple has changed their newest Mactel ad that originally aired at Macworld in January 2006. This new version is to be played in the UK. The only thing that has been changed about the ad as far as I can tell is the voice over. It used to say, “dull little boxes dutifully doing dull little tasks,” but now it says, “dutifully doing all the things PC’s were built to do.” There’s also a bit at the end that is changed to emphasize the Mac’s ability. Perhaps the people in the UK just aren’t ready for a full dose of Apple? Check out the new ad!

I wonder if they're trying to appease Intel, who apparently weren't very happy with the characterization of their PC customers as "dull."
