Let’s welcome John Mayer back into the fold

I think my verdict that Randy Newman totally rocked better than John Mayer reached his people. He’s clearly making a desperate attempt to seduce Apple into bringing back for next year’s Macworld Expo by shamelessly showing off his MacBook Air.
I feel a little bad for the man. His career is on such a slide since he totally dissed Apple by talking up his Blackberry. He’s anticipating his slide into obscurity. Pretty soon he’ll be the Abba of the new millennium. It’s sad really.
At least his new MBA won’t weight him down.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but John Mayer doesn't own a MacBook Air, but the guy who sat next to him on the plane has one.
Somehow, I don't anticipate a Broadway musical in twenty years featuring the music of John Mayer. I prefer to think of him as the John Waite of the new millennium.
