It’s been a while since we’ve had an update on the iPod Hi-Fi. Since the iPod speaker device was released in late February, it has become the fourth-best selling device, trailing behind Bose, Logitech, and i-Fusion. Although only in fourth place, the iPod Hi-Fi’s premium retail price ($349) has allowed it to claim a majority of the revenue spent on iPod speakers: the iPod Hi-Fi and the Bose SoundDock account for half of all iPod speaker revenue.
