Happyholidays-1Well, if you’ve noticed, things have been a bit slow here at MacUser the past couple days. Many of our dedicated bloggers are enjoying time with their families or are off somewhere exotic on vacation. Hopefully all of you are doing the same, but just in case you decided to stop by MacUser.com (it’s tough to avoid, we know) we wanted to wish you a very happy holiday season! Hopefully all your Mac and iPod dreams came true! (If you’d like to post a list of your loot in the comments, feel free!) Without further ado, Happy Holidays, and we’ll see you back here on Tuesday!

I got an 8GB Black Nano...

I also got a Samsung Blackjack... with which Windows Mobile 5 actually syncs VERY well with the Mac (via Missing Sync)

It appears Apple is doing quite well this holiday season: speaking of the iTunes store which is really slow and not working as well, perhaps because there are a ton of iTunes gift cards being cashed up, so those that thought music downloading biz is doing bad think again :)

(As for me I am quite pleased for getting many CDs I wanted a 500GB external, and some other goodies! :)

Have a good christmas everyone!

I got the new iPod Shuffle to compliment my 4G iPod 20 GB. We're like some crazy iPod family now. I've got those two, I got my wife a nano for Christmas to compliment her 1st Gen shuffle, and my son got a new shuffle to compliment his 1st Gen 5GB iPod (used to me mine back in the day). 3 people...6 iPods. We'll be sending the 1st gen shuffle to my brother so he can experience the the whole ipod/iTunes thing.

iPods (especially nanos) are the big thing this year methinks. Everyone I know received some type of iPod for Christmas in their family, most more than 1. Costco must have had a few hundred nanos in stock not 3 weeks ago. The day before Christmas I went there to pick up some conditioner and they were sold out of the nanos - even the locked up displays. In their place were the $50 gift certificates for iTunes for $44.99

Happy holidays!

Sadly, I got nothing mac related, but I didn't need anything mac related either (I wanted a plethora of mac related things, but I had bigger need-fish to fry). Anyway, wanted to wish you guys a very merry Christmas and happy new year. Thanks for all the great posts.

I didn't get any geek gear, but I got two geek books: iWoz and The Perfect Thing (by Steven Levy).

Hmm... they look tasty :)
