I guess things aren’t looking to good on that whole arbitration front, especially now that Psystar has gone ahead and released a Blu-ray Mac clone.
Psystar and Apple recently jointly filed for a trial date of November 9, 2009 in the U.S. District Court for Northern California. The date has yet to actually be approved by the court, however.
I guess if that’s the one thing that they’ve been able to agree on, then that’s some kind of progress. Hey—you gotta start somewhere, right?
Still, I’m guessing that this case will get settled before next fall—likely before April 2009, the year anniversary of when this whole saga first began.

Apple needs to tread carefully. I wonder if this case could blow up in Apple's face and force it to license its OS to other computer manufacturers. Can you imagine Apple clones popping up all over the place?
@CloneWars:
I think that's a scary thought. Also, I think that someone much bigger is behind this: a much larger corporation that wants to sell its products with the Mac OS. Maybe it's just a conspiracy theory, but you never really know these days.
I bet your right Ilyena. This case stinks.
If MS next OS is a flop, and let face it, Visa couldn't be helped even with a truck load of viagra, allot of Hardware companies might be up sh+t creek.
