ZDNet is reporting that Apple has finally taken Psystar, the Florida-based company to court, filing in US District Court, California Northern District (That’s Docket # 3:08−cv−03251−JL, for those of you keeping score at home) on July 3, 2008.
As we’ve covered ad nauseum here, Psystar has been ruffling Apple’s feathers for some time now with its Open Computer and wannabe XServe.
Oh, Psystar, you sly boots you. It was fun while it lasted, hrm? We highly doubt that you’re going to last very long against Apple’s veritable phalanx of attorneys. Our totally non-binding non-legal non-pro advice is: settle. Fast.
(That said, if you’re looking to unload some merch real quick to cover your legal fees, give us a ring, k?)

LOL. The day that we all knew would come has finally arrived. Everybody has their own opinion but I feel that knock off companies like Psystar cheapen the OS X experience.
An Apple OS belongs on Apple hardware. End of story.
As long as there is high quality products like Apple out there, there will be chep knockoffs.. Try going to China.. You'll be amazed how many there actually are :)
