It’s almost as if Jason were foreshadowing NBC’s recent behavior. One of my favorite currently running TV shows is House. I love his attitude and wit. It’s one of those I simply can’t miss. I’ve used iTunes in the past to catch missed episodes. That will no longer be an option.
But wait! House is shown on Fox and Fox wuvs iTunes. The problem is that while the show is aired on Fox, it’s actually produced by NBC’s studios (confusing, I know). If you’re looking for that latest quip from everybody’s favorite sarcastic diagnostician, you’ll have to look elsewhere. I won’t say where, but apparently the less than bytes are overflowing. Nudge, wink.
Well, that explains Chuck and Journeyman. It puts House in a really bad spot though. Presumably it won't be streamed-for-seven-days-with-commercials-you-can't-skip like NBC's other shows. This whole ordeal just keeps looking worse for NBC Universal.
Technically House is produced by Universal Media Studios, not NBC Studios. All under the same umbrella, of course.
DVR it my friend (or TiVo, whichever you prefer). House and Reaper came on at the same time last night, of course House won out in immediate viewing. Reaper is in my DVR. Screw NotBroadcastingChannel. I either buy it off iTunes (and they get paid by sponsors and me) or I DVR it and they only get paid by sponsors. Either way, i get to watch it.
quoth dictionary.com:
"tor·rent
–noun
1. a stream of water flowing with great rapidity and violence.
2. a rushing, violent, or abundant and unceasing stream of anything: a torrent of lava.
3. a violent downpour of rain.
4. a violent or tumultuous flow: a torrent of abuse.
"
Very similar to 'overflowing', but slightly different. To be torrential does not necessarily imply overflowing.
