For some people, iTunes is the place that they buy all their music and review all their media. In this day and age when people put all their personal information on their slum page MySpace profile, Facebook entry, or whatever other service is hot right now, people want to share what they’ve been doing on iTunes.
Apple has put together a series of widgets that you can put out in the public for everyone’s perusal (which will naturally leak over into a series of insulting commentaries on your choice of music). There are three different widget types: My iTunes Purchases, My iTunes Reviews, and My iTunes Favorites.
Once you’ve set up your account to use the service, you then choose a size and style (color combination). You’re then given the code to paste elsewhere. I’d give you a sample, but I don’t want to be mocked and also, I barely use the store.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
