Mars landing on iTunes for your viewing pleasure

If you haven’t heard of the Phoenix mission, you must be living under a rock… or on Mars. It’s in the northern area of our sister planet that Phoenix, a small spacecraft, landed a few days ago to explore the possibility of life on Mars.

For you to catch up on all the planetary action, the University of Arizona has added videos about the mission to iTunes U (iTunes link). Varying in length, they offer an insightful glimpse into all aspects of the mission, but my favorite is definitely the simulated landing (“Phoenix EDL Animation”). It even has orchestral music to accompany Phoenix in its descent!

As all iTunes U content, the videos are free and available to everyone. Enjoy!
