If you’ve swung by the iTunes Store lately, you may have noticed the “Great Albums” sale going on. Albums deemed “great” (or “cool” or “awesome,” I guess) are on sale for $7.99 instead of the usual $9.99. Albums are divided into 4 categories by decade: 1920s-1960s; 1970s; 1980s; 1990s-2000s. I don’t know if the ’80s really deserved their own category but that’s beside the point. I’ve already found albums by Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Prince (as he was known 20-some years ago), and Nirvana. (Key word being “found” here, not “purchased”).
No word on how long this sale will last so if you’re jonesing for John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme (1964, UMG Recordings, Inc.) with included digital booklet, you should probably move quickly.

Not fair! US only, not UK... again. Sigh. Perhaps I'm too demanding.
I checked the iTunes store and no mention of any sale whats so ever.
Just FYI, Prince has reverted back to his original name, having given up the unpronounceable pseudonym some time ago.
@John: Here's the link (sounds like it's only US from Jon's comment above).
