I’m sure it would be the purest effrontery to suggest that all Mac geeks are Star Trek fans. But if you’ve never pretended that your flip phone was Captain Kirk’s communicator, I can only say that I feel sorry for you.
The original series of Star Trek (TOS, if you’re a three letter abbreviation aficionado) is now available on iTunes for the standard $2 a pop; the 29 episode first season can be had for $56.99. classics from Season 1 include the Harlan Ellison-penned “The City on the Edge of Forever” and “Space Seed,” which introduces Khan Noonien Singh. The only oddity appears to be the ordering of the episodes, which reflects neither the original broadcast order, nor the order of production.
The addition of TOS to the iTunes Store is great, but what I’m really waiting for is Deep Space Nine. Let the Kirk vs. Sisko argument commence.

Oh Benjamin...
I liked DS9 the best, too. It had elements from every other series (except Enterprise and that's best forgotten). It even had tribbles.

This, after my brother in law gives me the second season box on DVD. (First season last year.)
DS9: I seriously second that. Let's hope it's on the way.
