Become a music producer on iTunes...or pretend to be one

Have you ever wondered how music labels get their music up onto iTMS? Well, they use a little piece of software called iTunes Producer. But an ordinary person just can’t go ahead and download iTunes Producer, you need an iTunes Label Connect name and password to get the program. But now, Mac Geekery has revealed a method for anyone to go ahead and download iTunes Producer. First you’ll need a Mac OS X Server running the Software Update service (good luck with that). Then, you can run some Terminal commands to get Software Update to download the program an extract it. Of course, you’ll still need an iTunes Label Connect account to use the program, but it’s still cool to download the software. Maybe.
