Yes, today the (PRODUCT) RED iPod nano I talked about yesterday has been released. The nano, as I said before, is 4G and costs $199, and $10 of what you pay will go to (PRODUCT) RED, which donates money directly to the Global Fund to help AIDS relief in Africa. The nano looks like all of the other current 2G nanos, except it’s colored a hot red. It has all of the features of the other nanos, so don’t worry about that. Overall, it looks like a really great way for Apple to help the world while also making a fashion statement.
On a slightly different note, the hanging Apple logo in New York’s 5th Avenue Apple Store today was colored red, in celebration of the release of the PRODUCT (RED) nano.
