It seems more frequent than one would expect that iPods are showing up in the world of politics. They are being used to educate voters, lobby Congressmen, and make the president more “personable.” It should come as no surprise, then, to read what CBS’s Brain Montopoli has posted on the Public Eye section of the CBS website.
His short article reviews the methods Senators, Presidents, and politicians are using to make themselves more “human.” Ironically, however, these politicians are using their iPod music choices to play straight into their image. As Brian so perfectly states:
I’m not saying [Hillary] Clinton’s choices are necessarily tailored to what’s going to play well with the plebes. But I have a hard time believing that she chose the songs she did without a little advanced planning. I mean, really, could a political consultant have come up with better selections?
So while one might think you and Hiliary listen to the same tunes, the reality is that you’re just being manipulated by political publicity.
Hillary's tunes probably blow.
