This fall, iPod vending machines will find their way into Macy’s stores in malls in Ohio. Reports the Cincinnati Business Courier:
The iPod agreement, with a company called Zoom, will put 28-square-foot vending machines, roughly the size of a convenience store refrigerator, in high-traffic locations. Shoppers can pick what they want, swipe their credit card, and a sliding electronic arm retrieves the item.
This is the same company that struck a similar deal here in California before. San Francisco now has iPod vending machines.
