In space, no one can hear your iPod. But super-observant iPod fans everywhere spotted one on board Space Shuttle Endeavour. While perusing some hi-res photos of the shuttle (which is currently docked at the International Space Station), he spotted a 5G iPod through the crew cabin window, just chillin’ all up in space.
Turns out that the iPod’s Lithium battery isn’t qualified for space-flight, though. So the batteries of “space iPods” are removed, and instead astronauts use an external AA battery pack. Two steps forward…
