Command-Tab has just put online an interactive display of “hidden” iPod commands. These commands, which are hard reset, diagnostic mode, and drive mode, allow your iPod to do basic tasks with a series of button combinations that vary based on the model of your iPod. None of the commands will work with the Shuffle, though commands for the Mini and the Nano are the same as the 4G and 5G iPods.
