iPod travels to the final frontier: your shower

ipodshower.jpgI’ve actually been eagerly awaiting a waterproof iPod dock for my shower. Perhaps I’m alone in this, but every once in a while I want to listen to a podcast or some tunes while getting my clean on. There are plenty of waterproof radios, so why not an iPod dock? And not only does the $20 dock include a standard 1/8” audio plug, but it also has a built-in AM/FM radio in cases when your iPod just doesn’t suffice, and an LCD clock so you don’t get so distracted that you forget it’s time to go to work.

You’ll need to grab 4 AA batteries to power the speakers, but a small battery for the clock is included (how sweet!). With Christmas over, I guess it’s time to start making that birthday list.

It's cheap, but because it uses a headphone jack instead of a dock connector, there's no changing tracks once you're in the shower. Bummer.

Yeah, that thing sucks. you might as well just use a ziploc bag and put your ipod in the bag and hang it over the shower door or something like that. Since it uses to headphone jack, doesn't it sound worse than using the dock connecter, not amplified I believe? I'm not sure, either way that product is a waste of money if you ask me.
