Right now, you can’t get an iPhone yet, and you know Leopard has been delayed until October. Currently, it’s tough to be an Apple consumer. So where can spend your Apple budget right now?
Well if you live in China, you can buy a case for that iPhone that you just totally know that you’re going to get. Engadget is reporting that Chinese manufacturers have begun producing iPhone cases, with no guidance from Apple. How?
Using the official product specs released by Apple, as well as photographs of the device as their map, these manufacturers have designed, produced, and begun to market accessories for product that’s not only unreleased, but also lacking any sort of third party accessory support from Apple as of yet. This line from the Engadget piece captures the gist of the story perfectly: “What better way to protect your cardboard cutout until late June?”
