Things at Yahoo these past months have been somewhat, shall we say, rocky. Not only did they come very close to being acquired by Microsoft, eventually rejecting the offer and angering shareholders, many high-profile people have been leaving the company. Because frankly, no one knows what the heck is going on in there.
Unfortunately, Flickr founders Caterina Fake and Stewart Butterfield have now also handed in their resignation. Their baby, arguably the most popular photo-sharing site, was bought by Yahoo in 2005. Already then, the community was feeling queasy about the Internet giant taking over their favorite web service. Now that its founders are gone, let’s hope Flickr stays the way it is.
If you want to have a laugh, Valleywag has a copy of Butterfield’s resignation letter. Apparently, he’s been working at Yahoo for the past 87 years… or so he claims.

^^ Shame on you correcting small time typos.
I just hope Flickr loosens the strings a little bit. I mean, allowing a maximum of 3 photo sets for a free account is very miserly. At least give 3 more sets every three months or something.
