Safari’s market share is still roaring, up 65%. Unfortunately, that gives it only 3.19%. Still, that’s a big win for the browser (my personal favorite most of the time), Apple, and the Internet in general.
It’s holding on the number three spot after Internet Explorer and Firefox (holding 84.04% and 10.77% respectively). I’m not sure how I feel about these numbers because other sites show wildly different numbers. It also hinges heavily upon the content of a particular site. Still, things seem to be looking up for Safari.

i don't think these figures are accurate due to the fact that they are comparing a product that is available to all platforms (firefox) or one that comes bundled with the industry's leading operating system (IE) with a product that is ONLY available to one platform. this would be a good source of information if apple had versions of safari available for download from their website for windows and linux, or at least windows, like iTunes has. however, it is nice to see that the safari market share is growing regardless. it must mean mac sales are going up.
YES! Watch out, Firefox! I'm really glad to see Safari doing so well. It's my fave, too, at least for most sites.
