PC World: Apple has six of the best products of 2007

PCWorld Top 100Our relatives over at PC World looove the list. Who can blame them? Think of all the great lists we’ve had throughout history: the ten commandments, Luther’s ninety-five theses, the entire opus of Casey Kasem.

And so, the PC World folks have brought together the 100 best products of 2007. Perhaps it would be better described as the top 100 products (2007 edition), seeing as how the year isn’t yet half over, and some of the listed items have been around for a while.

Apple rings in with six (count ‘em, six!) entries on the list: Tiger grabs the 9 spot, the Apple TV goes to 11, the 80GB iPod makes it to 26, the 8GB nano hits 45, iTunes is at 61, and the MacBook Pro comes in at 82. Noticeably absent from the one hundred list is Windows Vista, which we have on good authority did make PC World’s “list of products released in 2007.”

Other Mac-related products included the Intel Core 2 Duo at #2 and Parallels Desktop at #6, though the iPhone did not make it (since presumably it hasn’t shipped yet). Top honors went to Google Apps Premier Edition. See, Apple? You should have stuck with the multicolored logo.
