Apparently, the Director of the Open Source Software Lab at Microsoft (who knew such a thing existed?) has invited four developers of the Mozilla package to spend four days with Microsoft’s Vista Readiness team. Sam Ramji (not to be confused with Spider-Man director Sam Raimi) posted the invitation to the mozilla.dev.planning newsgroup.
Could this be Microsoft realizing that Mozilla’s Firefox browser is an important part of the Internet…a peace offering? The initial message from Ramji explained that he was posting the invitation there “in case [Mozilla.org’s] spam filters are set to block @microsoft.com email addresses.”
Then again, maybe they’ll show up and find that Vista is fully operational, at which point the massive power of Microsoft’s Planet-Destroying Superlaser™ will doom us to a life of Internet Explorer.
Yes, me = big dork.

Dan, you read way too much Fark. :)
You know what's funny? I actually don't read Fark. I'm just that much of a dork. Trust me.
...All the while, our young hero, Steve Jobs, is in the very heart of Redmond itself, preparing to duel with his arch-nemesis, the evil Emperor Gates, and his father who he thought to be dead but turned to the dark side, Darth Paul...
No Dan, I'm the dork
