Axiotron, the company that breathed a sigh of relief at this Macworld Expo when Apple did not release the long-rumored tablet Mac, has updated the specifications of their ModBook product, following in the footsteps of the recent MacBook updates.
The modified tablet Mac now ships with 2.1 and 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors and a choice of 120 or 160GB of storage space. At $2,279, the base price remains unchanged, but if you want the faster machine with the 2.4GHz processor, you’ll have to shell out $2,479.
The rest of the configuration is the same as it was on the previous generation product and you can place an order online starting yesterday.
