So Dan made a big deal out of Creative Suite 2.3 not being Universal. While by and large this is true, it’s not completely. Acrobat 8 is a Universal Binary.
Acrobat 8 on MAC is much faster than earlier versions and Acrobat 8 is Intel native/Universal.
Ok, ok, so the source is a blog. However, it’s an Adobe blog, by an Adobe employee. As a blogger, that’s gospel. Or at least a strong enough source to believe it. I think we may finally be out of the woods with Adobe a little bit. We know they’re capable of writing Universal applications. That’s a good first step.
