Mac magazine MacAddict recently underwent a name change to Mac|Life. I suppose it was partially to present a more mature view, but I thought that was its whole schtick, that it was the MAD magazine of the Mac world. It just lacked it’s own Mac version of Spy vs. Spy.
In a non Macworld Expo piece of news, they changed their name to reflect the change in magazine. The old acronym for their forums was MAF. It’s now M|LF. I could not have come up with this myself. It’s far too beyond my own sense of humor’s capabilities.

MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
That's one way to "present a more mature view."
Curiously, Share and Enjoy was also the motto of the marketing division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation, whose members have been called "a bunch of mindless jerks who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes." (See The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams.)
If you know anything about Douglas Adams and his affection for Macs, you might feel the change is sort of appropriate. Maybe it's an homage?
Yawn...
Scared, maybe...?
