In last week’s re-aired episode of This American Life, John Hodgman shares his hilarious story about how he landed his job playing the PC in the popular “I’m a Mac; I’m a PC” Apple commercials. Titled “Nice Work if You Can Get it,” the episode is available for free download as a podcast for a limited time. Check it out if you need some entertainment to get you through a slow Friday.
So is it your intention to announce every time they rebroadcast this?
Hodgman is hilarious, good stuff, thanks.
@Dave-O: Not all of our readers have your encyclopedic knowledge of our posting history. And some of them may have missed it the first time around. And some of them may be new since then. So, you know, we're sharing the love.
@Dave-O:
Dude, chill. I for one havn't run across this interview-and I check this website several times a week. So I'll be downloading the Podcast.
All I'm saying is the episode is a year old now, so Hodgman fanatics know that they may have heard this one already (back before MU hit the big time, apparently). I wasn't reaching for my nitroglycerin or anything.
It's all part of my vendetta against Brian Chen. He once wrote something I no longer remember that I kinda sorta disagreed with, and now I make it a point to either say nothing about his copious entries or post a mild rebuke about announcing reruns.
Who says dude anymore?
Dude, I still say dude.
