Before you start screaming about the terrible spyware that Bonzi Buddy was, this is a joke. The silly little purple gorilla infested perhaps millions of computers, harvesting user’s personal information for profit and eventually their hopes and fears for cheesy movies of the week.
Clearly a satirical remake as a Dashboard widget was in order. Before you click, click, click your way into nostalgia, keep in mind that the conversation that will spout from this evolutionary cousin is course. It makes me blush. Still, it’s a fitting tribute.
