The Mooninites strike back…on your Dashboard

Mooninites.jpgSome Dashboard widgets are informative. Some widgets are helpful. Some are just plain silly. A widget starring the Mooninites definitely falls into that last category.

Unless you’re up watching Adult Swim around midnight (what are you, a reporter?), you probably never saw the network’s bizarre food-based cartoon, Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Thanks to an “interesting” advertising campaign, almost everyone and their mother soon knew about Ignignokt and Err. Now your Dashboard widgets can too, thanks to Polar Widgets. The widget features those two crazy Mooninites in both their cartoon and LED versions (with extra options for whether you want the LEDs to blink). A “safe for work” option is checked off by default (the Mooninites are antagonistic by nature).

I usually use my Dasboard for stuff like weather, sticky notes, and other random junk but sticking a cranky cartoon character on there helps liven things up a bit every time I need to press that F12 key.
