NSA logoDid you know the NSA (National Security Agency—if you don’t know what this is, you might ask Sam Fisher) has authored an article dealing specifically with Apple Mac OS X? The title is “Apple Mac OS X v10.3.x “Panther” Security Configuration Guide,” and to quote the NSA:

NSA has developed and distributed configuration guidance for Apple Operating Systems. This guidance can be used by US government and other entities as a security baseline.

Well all-righty-then. Still not sure exactly what that means, but browsing through the table of contents makes it seem like a OS X user manual for security-centered freaks. All I know is that it sure makes me feel important what I have a document sitting on my screen that says “UNCLASSIFIED” at the top of every page.
